Hello,

Mid january i purchased a drone from the dji website for £400.

When I received the drone I noticed its range was no where near what was advertised.

After following all troubleshooting and being unable to resolve the issue I sent it off to DJI to repair.

They completed work on it and returned it to me however it had not improved the issue.

On contacting them i mentioned that I would like a refund or different model as I was unhappy.

They stated they would try and fix it and give me a free battery however if they were unable to or I was not satisfied they would swap it for another model. They ruled out giving me a refund.

I sent it away for repair again for a second time and when I received it back (i did not receive the battery as promised) it was completely broken and not even possible to fly it properly.

I contacted them again. They then stated they would swap it for a different model.

I dispatched it however they have apparently repaired it yet again.

My issue is this has never worked properly and has been repaired 3 times in 6 months.

They are refusing to call me to discuss this and do not provide a phone number.

I have refused to accept delivery of the item and told them I shall be contacting my credit card company.

Could someone please provide me with some helpful tip on where I stand with my rights with this being a international company.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to CAG. I haven't heard of DJI before however some simple checks reveal they have a German address as well as the Chinese one.

I am not sure about international consumer rights however, if the drone was supplied in Europe, this may help.
