  • 2 months later...

Been a while but

Absolutely no response from Amazon/ Cozo (supplier ) so now waiting on charge back from card supplier .

Thereby raising another problem .

The card supplier has a 120 day limit on chargebacks , so refused as we were ( according the them ) out of time , not sure which calendar they use , certainly not the Gregorian Calendar . With proof of postage , date signed for , we know exactly 115 days passed in between purchase and them signing for the request , but , according to THEIR own !! calendar we are well ( they will not be specific ) over the time limit .

A very sharp letter has been sent back suggesting they use the same calendar as the rest of the western world , and to get on with processing the chargeback .

And still the bank wriggles

The goal posts have now moved .

Its not a 120 day time limit on when a chargeback can been requested, the limit is less as the bank need at least 2 days to inform the merchant that a chargeback has been requested within 120 days from transaction

Except in our case we requested the chargeback at 113 days, proven by a signed for delivery of our request. 7 calender 5 working days is enough time for the bank to get their finger out
