DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

how much do you owe

theres over £2500 of PPI to reclaim

it says its a refinance

so I bet you old loan had PPI too

that will be worh £1000's too.

and no doubt there are £100's of penalty fees HFC levied too.

I suspect they owe YOU

which is why they sold the debt on.

closing balance that they sent is just over £3,500.

i think it was for a over draft plus something else,

i really cant remember i think it was to consolidate a few debts plus some money for myself

do i send the PPI claim to HFC or to DCA?

What do i do about the DCA?

There are some T&C's on the PPI page

Just read some of the other posts, going to SAR HFC to look at reclaiming chargers and PPI,

I am going to ignore the DCA as they haven't completed the CCA request

(i read thats the best thing to do instead of telling them they failed to send the T&C's)

sar first before you do anything yet

the refinancing will only be for old HFC debts

it wouldn't be allowed if it was an outside bank debt

HFC didn't do accounts OD's

I have never banked with HFC or had any other debts/credit cards/loans with HFC, I do remember having a over draft with natwest, im 99.99% certain that what it is

Ah read it again

It says repaying

Not refinance

Urm..prob why they used their spoof beneficial name

On those forms

I suspect

If they paid that off 'for you'

They would have got a discount from NatWest!!

I would also suspect NatWest debt was inflated with penalties too

can someone point in the right direction to one,

putting the account into dispute should save me time and effort in the future

Well I was hoping if I threatened them with the with formal complaints to the FCA etc

they would make a "corporate decision" to write the debt off

Something along of the lines

Dear robbers

You have failed to fully comply with the CCA request

(Quote some of the acts and time limits)

I will be making formal complaints to the FCA etc blah blah

I look forward to hearing from you, you have 7 working days

Or is that not a good idea?

A family member of mine kept hammering them with letters like that

and they ended up writing the debt off (maybe he was just lucky?)

no not a good idea

did you get that SAR running
