Hi guys,

I was reading another post and i got a doubt in my mind.

When I look for insurance (any kind) through a comparison site or broker, I get some companies results saying that they cannot quote.

Question: This doesn't mean that I had insurance refused, correct? (I hope)

No, sure there's loads of different reasons some insurers won't give you a quote.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

If in doubt, you should seek the opinion of a Qualified Professional.

I'm having a dumb moment, sorry.

Surely to refuse insurance they'll have to send an official communication same as when they cancel insurance, right?

Yes refused Insurance is where you have had cover with a company and they refuse to continue cover.

If you have never been with a company and they don't quote that is not refusal. It is just that they are not offering a quote for a variety of reasons e.g postcode high risk, your insurance requirements below or above their policy cover amounts, on comparison sites it is often rates are missing or they can't quote online.

We could do with some help from you.
