    • The reported reductions in infections is interesting - for all the wrong reasons - given no real scientist can explain it   Here's a few thoughts   First, the obvious - we expect a reduction in infections because its summer and people are outside more and its quite clear the infections spread far more indoors or in large crowds   Second, also obvious - the more people vaccinated, the less spread - we just dont seem to know in any detail how much  or against which strains   Now perhaps the less obvious, * School Kids aren't being tested - but they are outdoors more - but effectively mixing less compared to classrooms * There has been a significant shortage of lft tests - so less tests     Now things that I've not been seeing reported, although I have almost utterly lost faith in all the UK reporting LFT's are best at catching significantly symptomatic infections, and the vaccines do reduce symptomatic infection quite significantly perhaps 60% or more - but thats 60%+ of infected people walking around unknowing - even after lfts. I've seen this myself with experienced people testing neg on regular testing with LFT's - starting to feel ill and testing positive with PCR and those they have been in close contact with also testing positive via PCR after ALL getting negs with regular LFTs. None of those I am aware of are as yet seriously ill.   That seems to define a vast number of people walking around, asymptomatic, not caught by LFT's, but still infectious, would be caught by PCR's and clearly speeding even in controlled environments - so imagine whats happening in shops/supermarkets where more have stopped wearing masks etc.   - and we know infections=mutations The gov MUST know this. I'm seeing it reported in local hospitals and nursing homes The vaccine is actually reducing the already limited effectiveness of LFT's in flagging spreadable infections. So both an expected  boon and a un-stated (so far) risk
    • Just arrived, Lowell's WS and evidence. Seems a little longer than some I have seen. I will see how much of what I have written can be used to answer it. Any help will be much appreciated as I am now late getting this to the court and Lowell. Thanks. Lowell WS - redacted.pdf
    • My mum is making an insurance claim through Zurich for an injury to her knee she sustained last year in a local cemetery.   She lost her footing on a pot hole and came down and cut her knee and ended up in hospital.   She is currently awaiting results from an X-ray to her knees and has experienced difficult walking, numbness and pain ever since.   She just received a letter from them (attached) so I thought I would come on here and ask for some advice, if anyone has any?   We are going to send photos later and try to answer all the questions they are asking. It sounds like standard insurance company stuff, trying to get out of paying. The council is clearly at fault here and should have maintained the pathways since it's a public space and frequented by old people who aren't as steady on their feet.   The claim is being made in Scotland. mum claim pdf.pdf

Hi All,

I have around 6 complaints with the FOS. 2 of which have already been looked at by an Adjudicator who rejected them both. When she did she told me that an Ombudsman will probably side with her? Is this right? I have complained to her Manager as I really felt that she was biased from the start. I have asked for an Ombudsman to look at them but now after what she said I am wandering if its worth it. Luckily my other 4 complaints are now being investigated by another adjudicator as I requested.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have but just wanted to know if any decisions have been overturned to show that it is worth it. Really hope so as one of them was definitely wrong based on what other's have said.

There have been a number of reports on here that the Ombudsman has upheld a complaint that the adjudicator rejected. BUT you must put some work in and put forward an argument that an Ombudsman is willing to consider.

We could do with some help from you.
