Hi

Please could you tell me or point me to someone who maybe able to help if someone gets a simple police warning for slapping someone does the victim get any paperwork from the police or just told verbally that the offender as accepted a caution

I very much doubt it under data protection as technically no crime has been committed. It will be different if it went to the magistrates. As far as anyone is concerned the matter has been dealt with by the old bill and closed.

accepted a caution

it seems then there is a formal caution in place, which wld be an acceptance of an offence. is that correct, what happened?

Hi yes

A simple caution as been issued for a slap across the face assault according to the law this was admitted offence admitted the caution form signed does the victim get told verbally that they have been cautioned or do they get it in writing
