GERMANY has provoked fury after a much followed TV show, Heute Show, has sent presenter Lutz van der Horst, to the streets of London, campaigning for the organisation called "Krauts for Brexit", which advocates Britain not only leaving the EU but also the Champions League.

I don't know what these arrogant Germans want from us, but I tell you what, I'll do the opposite of what the Germans want and I'll vote IN!

I thought this the other day. They should let other EU countries hold referendums on whether they want the UK to remain part of the EU.

We could do with some help from you.

The EU's versions of Farage's, etc etc

oh and the Ue's own versions of the national front ...

and of course all those on all sides who cant apparently cant forget the war, despite probably not directly experiencing it (or any real war).

and of course the comedians despite it being politically incorrect in many circles.

No matter what we do, we will stay in.

The referendum will be rigged and politicians and large corporations have too much to lose if we left the EU.

We're stuck with this failed confederation of states for life...

At least we don't have the Euro yet.

Phew, thats a relief. About time all these corrupt UK politicians that some idiots want to give up the remnants of our sovereignty too did something for us, even if it is for their own selfish corrupt reasons as you say king12345, and any benefit to us is purely incidental.

Can you name one benefit of being in the EU apart from cheaper holidays?

We've been in it for 15 years and I haven't seen any improvement, just failure in all fields.

How about 3 for starters:

Most, if not all of workers rights (see note 1)?

Most, if not all environmental protection (so our children have a chance to grow up in a world not poisonous and hostile to them)?

Most, if not all the good deals the UK get in trading with the rest of the world as if it were a 500,000,000 strong nation (rather than a **** farty little nation run by a handful of corrupt politicians and businessmen (as you stated) for their own benefit)?

(Note 1 : Workers rights, You know, the stuff Boris thinks restricts business leaders in how they treat their slaves and what he wants 'sovereignty' to get rid of (as already linked many times in other threads)?

Now how about you resolving your confusion regarding wishing more sovereignty/power for these corrupt politicians and big business you so regularly highlight?

Your argument have little fundation.

Workers rights are stronger in UK than most eu countries because some strong individuals fought for it in the 60/70/80s.

See latest McAlpine ruling online.

Environmental issues have failed at all levels, so no point having any rule eu or national if the end result is only more tax.

Trading won't be affected the slightest with eu countries because we will still be part of the EEC if we leave the EU.

We would have better trading with non eu countries because there would be no eu restrictions on who we deal with as it is now.

You need to document yourself on the real pros and cons, not the one sided scaremongering and lies.

Cameron has resisted the EU's environmental (including fracking) legislation as linked before. This legislation would be implemented by the EU as soon as Britain exited, and would be required to be implemented by Britain for trade - its a cornerstone of the EU.

EEC?? Do you mean the EEA? - Britain would NOT be part of the EEA if it left the EU, it would need to renegotiate.

Already pointed out that negotiations of deals with other countries would be in competition with the 10x larger EU once we left - sure we would get a better deal - NOT - except maybe a good deal from Russia.

Your statements simply dont bare even superficial scrutiny king albeit they are way beyond conniffs

addendum

Holy sheeet

Its just dawned on me that Britain exiting might be better for the world, (europe at least) even if it almost certainly wont be for the british public.

The EU would impose the stricter legislation requiring all its trading partners to start to fall in line.

We would be left with trade deals with the other polluters

Thats quite a sobering thought in an already serious issue.

Who told you that leaving the eu would exclude us from the EEA?

That's a complete different deal which remains in place even if we leave the eu.

We import much more than we export and I can't see Spain denying us some serrano ham because we're out of the eu, or Audi not selling us their cars.

Nonsense.

Britain used to be great before joining the eu, same for many other countries like Italy and Germany, now on the edge of collapse.

There's nothing good about the eu apart its own utopian idea.

Anyway, Cameron is saying that if we stay in things will be better, but why things have not gone better in the past 15 years?

Wasn't the global recession started by the greedy bankers playing god thanks to eu leeways?

That's what many economists say, I can't vouch for them because I don't know much about finance, but if many say that there must be some truth.

Nope (although there was complicity)

It was US banks packaging sub prime junk, and the UK unregulated banks picking them up

- God knows why,

and its Cameron who is stopping the EU regulating them.

Posted the info and link many times already, it was one of the only things Camerons EU renegotiation delivered 'protection for the City of London.' (financial institutions)

- the corrupt UK politicians and big business you rightly revile
