Hello All,

thank you all for the advice that follows;

My car has been photographed at the above station and issued with a PCN in the early evening but that PCN has an incorrect reg on it.

I, like many others, just want assurance that the PCN is invalid due to the incorrect details being taken down and not to do anything with the PCN nor write to NCP.

I always pay my parking, all the time, including this day pay by phone but I did this just before leaving London some 2 hours after the PCN was issued but by the time I got back to my car the dreaded sticky envelope was on my windscreen.

This is a company vehicle which both myself and my wife are allowed to drive.

If any more information is needed please let me know.

Thank you all once again.

Me?

It's a leased vehicle.

The police have to write to the company I work for asking for more details about the car when I have received a speeding ticket.

I don't have any docs from DVLA for this vehicles ownership but obviously the lease company would and they in turn would contact my company who would know it's my car

No you are not the RK then. You are the keeper though.

This would seem to be on railway land ,which is covered by byelaws, so is not relevant for the POFA to be enacted. No keeper liability.

Incorrect reg number on the NTD is a well known tactic used by PPCs. They hope to trap the driver into revealing their name and address so saving themselves the £2.50 DVLA fee. And negating the POFA.

I would suggest appealing the NTD as keeper, thereby taking the lease company out the picture, and hopefully then a compliant NTK will not be sent either.

It's late now so wait till tomorrow for further advice...

Can you answer these questions as well please to help with correct advice;

Ticket on screen? If so do nothing and see if they send out a NTK. If they have logged the wrong details you wont get one, simple as that. If they do send one out the screen ticket damns them so unless you want to admit you were in the wrong they cant collect anything from anyone.
