wasn't quite sure where to place this post.

My husband died quite tragically after I donated a kidney to him in September

and I have only just found out he had an online savings account containing £2400.

He left no will.

My problem is that since he died I have suffered with PTSD and agoraphobia

and can't leave the house to get to the bank as they requested.

My sister-in-law has been sorting most things for me and

NatWest allowed her to bring paperwork home,

should we be able to do the same with Lloyds.

he worry of this is distresssing me very much.

Thanks in advance anyone who can help

Sorry to hear of your loss..

It may help if you sign a data protection release form duly signed and dated by yourself, this will enable a 3rd party to deal with certain issues on your behalf...

Evidence of your I'D may be requested so please bear this in mind..

If I have been of any help, please click on my star and leave a note to let me know, thank you.

Hello there. I'm very sorry to hear about your husband.

Have you tried ringing Lloyds' call centre? The people you need are the bereavement service, don't talk to the general advisors.

It does sound as if they're making things overly complicated.

That's excellent, good for you. If you have any other institutions to deal with, always try to speak to the bereavement service. They're much more understanding. :)

I hope you get things sorted soon.
