Thanks, Will they not pay out for charges???? I`ve seen people on here claiming for charges or is that wrong. I`m just trying to get my mother as much back as i can.

Do i send the spreadsheets with the PPI questionaire or Not??

Also after i fill in the account numbers in the spreadsheet ,when i move to some other cell the number always changes to something like (first 4 or 5 number of account)1.2345E+15 ,why does this happen?

change the cell type to text

yes you send the spreadsheets ofcourse

it really depends on many factors if they refund the charges and what you write

following other cap1 claims for the era of your charges is the key.

Hi Dx , thanks. Yes self help!

Until 2 months ago i had never used a spreadsheet ,so im learning some.

I read this thread.

they had the same charges but unfortunately didnt update as to if they went for the charges.

I even got the dodgy looking scanned credit agreement they mention with just a signiture and date but no mention of PPI.

Only real difference my mothers card was paid off and ran longer.

heres a scan of the credit agreement from the SAR request.

Does it look like the postal application type ,like the letters they send you saying "you`ve been selected ". My mother cant quite recall.

Also the date on the agreement looks suspiciously like a number 4 for the year when the card was taken out in 2002.

Thanks

you should be aware that from mid last year, cap one are using a new calculator that has been "approved":wink:by the fos

include any charges caused by the addition of ppi in your spreadsheet, as that is what capone are now doing

best to use the spreadsheet using info from all the statements to get a more accurate guideFosRunningPPI v102.xls

read up on the FCA guidance on further redress DISP 3.9.2G

your "agreement" is an application form

Right `old Rouge`, ive managed after several hours to do the Fosrunning ppi sheet. I will just leave the charges matter for now.

Does it look ok ???

It all tallys with the statement balances.

Do i add 8% simple interest on to the total from the day after the card is paid off to the present day?

Thankyou

HI Dx ,

Not sure what you mean ? The date in the FOSrunning sheet is the last entry isnt it?? 10/11/2011

So you can`t claim 8% interest using the final figure from the Fosrunning sheet in the Stat int sheet from 10/11/2011 to today? (like i did in post 5 above).

Thanks

sri yes that's a diff way isn't it on the running sheet

it calcs 8% when the A/c Becomes in credit only.

as long as your card balance each month tallies with the statements it is done correct

On a side note my mother was retired from 2005 onwards ,so for 5 years of the 8- 9years she had this card PPI ,she wasn`t even working! Before that she had generous sick pay from employers.
