Just saw that over on PPs site.

Not much info to go on as yet but I hope that it will bring parking charges in line with penalty charges for the area, not nationally.

 

Some areas have a charge much lower than the £80+ charge levied at present. My local area has a maximum charge of £50 but reduced to £20 when paid promptly.

 

I don't recall ever seeing the Government asking for consumer input either.
