FOS have requested the copies of the bank statement for all the duration of the loans, when they were taken. I will also provide them with my credit report copy.

I also mentioned to them, wonga granted me all these loans when I clearly mentioned to them i am student at that time with no job. They were suprised and noted this point.

I needed some advice. I complained to payday uk about a month ago (5weeks) still got no response. Should I email the CEO and their customer relations again for the final time or should i go to FOS directly?

ICL Ltd (PDUK and The Money SHOP) have been SWAMPED with complaints, and are taking nearly double the 8 weeks to send a response, Someone I know sent a letter off early October and they only got a response back this week.

After the 8 weeks, Go to the FOS. Patience however is a virtue here.

We could do with some help from you.

I thought they have up to 8 weeks for a final response from what I've read on previous posts wait the other 3 week out

They do however, they can take as long as they want if there is a valid reason for it, (Reasonable delay)

Id wait it out and throw it to the FOS. Leave them to hang themselves.

Right, so wait it out for the remaining 3 weeks and then send it off to FOS.

I have also sent past bank statements to FOS for the duration I received loans from wonga. I had to SAR barclays as some of the loans were paid in my barclays account that's closed now. Funnily enough wonga didn't really provide me all of the statement of loans that I had.

When I looked into my past barclays statement I got loan from wonga for eg in February 2014 but they never provided me with this info. I mentioned this to FOS.

Good Morning.

Just checked my credit file. All the payday loans have been closed except peachy and payday uk. Payday uk shows as UC for two months. Peachy will be closed once the remaining £85 is settled. Barclays partner finance has been ammended and all shows as upto date.

Got a letter from payday uk last week sometime stating they have 8 weeks to reply etc. Hopefully i will get a response from FOS this week regarding Wonga.

Hi FP... I wouldnt bet on PDUK coming back to you, I know someone whos been waiting 16 weeks, yet when they rang for an update, they said

"We have it but we are severely behind" Once they get to 8 weeks, send it straight to the FOS.

Another....result.

Email from Wonga:

We’re pleased we’ve managed to come to a resolution through the ombudsman service.

I can confirm that we have received your payment instructions and are in the process of completing your settlement, amount of £265.27 to bank account , ending .... Please allow up to five working days for receipt of payment.

Compensatory interest is subject to income tax at the basic rate under UK tax legislation and, therefore, tax will be deducted at the basic rate of 20% from any payments made to you. If you do not pay tax, you may be able to reclaim some or all of this tax reduction from HM Revenue and Customs.

If you are a higher rate tax payer, you may have to pay additional tax on the compensatory interest via your tax return. Please see HMRC.gov.uk for more details.

Please see attached file for a breakdown of your settlement.

We have also sent a request to amend your credit record to remove the applicable loans from your file.

Please get in touch if you have any queries.

Kind regards

Hi FP

Thank you for the update on Wonga etc....

Im so glad you are doing so well!

Alass I have some sad news about PDUK. They are taking a long time (Beyond 8 weeks) to investigate complaints.

If you are at the 8 week period, go straight to the FOS.

Please keep us posted.
