I have 3 payday loanslink3.gif showing on my credit file as these are in a DMP.

I made the mistake just over a year ago of borrowing money from them to help pay for my mothers funerallink3.gif expenses but then it kept rolling over. The companies are Quick Quid £361, Think Finance £782 and instant cash loans T/A Payday UK £557.

The credit file for these loans show monthly periodic payment amounts for not what I am paying them but for amounts varying from £782 / £1440 and £557. Surely this is incorrect information ?

Is there any way I can get rid of the payday loans off my credit file as when I borrowed from them it was an instant online decision and they kept allowing me to roll it over. I admit it was a very big mistake to use these people in the first place but I was in a bit of a panic

I hope someone can help and advise me please as its really worrying me now.

Thanks in advance

Who is the DMP with ? Are they deducting fees from your payments ? If you are with a company that charges fees, you should dump them. Do it yourself or go via Stepchange.

If the credit record is wrong or you are still in financial hardship, you need to register this with these PDL companies, by sending a complaint letter to their head office. Ask for an up to date statement of account.

Have you spoken to Stepchange or National Debtline about your financial situation ?

Might be worth getting some confidential advice.

We could do with some help from you.

HI, I am with payplan as they charge no fees. The PDL companies all know that we are in a DMP and they are accepting payments from payplan but the credit file is showing either a default or DMP or AR.

I though that once they agree to payments from a DMP they do not register a default or am I wrong ?

what kind of letter can I send to these PDL companies to try and get them all removed or even written off ?

Many Thanks

The debts will still be on your record, but i thought they would be marked that you are in a DMP.

You should speak to Payplan to see what they agreed with creditors in regard to interest and current debt balance still owed. The credit record should be corrected, if the amounts and arrangement is wrongly shown.

Got my statements from them all now, I noticed on my DMP that one of the creditors is Mr lender but my credit file shows that the account was settled in full now it looks like the monies are going to a company called MMF Motormile Finance Ltd. I think this one needs to be stopped paying as the credit file shows settled.

Any Advice appreciated

Okay so Ive analysed what you have sent me, I genuinely domt think you have a massive case here. Youve been paying through a DMP and I suggest you continue to do so.

PDUK... I see evidence of 2 loans, and thats all. Why do you think that it was irresponsible lending?

If it was constant reloans id agree however I am unsure youd get very far with them. Is the account direct with them?

Although they did lend you 225% of what they lent you in the first place...

QQ... Interesting, So they lent you £100 and you repaid that, but then lent you £1200 later in 2013. Was this their flexiloan? Or was it Normal PDL? On CRA it said 1 month but I wouldnt expect that amount for 1 month.

The payments, were the rollovers? I think you need to SAR QQ. You need more info before a decision can be made.

Sunny... No Case here. Rolling credit limit. One loan, Payments of £1 after that. Nothing you can do with this one.

Mr Lender / MMF... Stop paying MMF, Send a CCA request to check legality of debt.

Youll need to SAR Mr Lender.

We could do with some help from you.

You dont have to pay them all. At least not the extortionate charges anyway. You pay what you originally took out plus original interest until the termination of the loan. Dont fall victim to their bogus charges and fee's.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

IMP is right, but at the same time, why pay them?... They wont go near court and they caused you enough misery?

There is no harm in complaining, it may be worth a go with QQ because I think thats the best one you have a chance with but you need to get more info out of them.

You could probably kill it and may get a refund that can help with your other debts or you can keep it for yourself...
