The Supreme Court did apply the UCTTR, which renders certain unfair terms unenforceable. 6 out of 7 judges felt that the £85 charge was an unfair term. It might have been unfair if the charge was (for example) £200, but we do not know exactly where the line will be drawn.

Not Fit For Purpose comes to mind, they are traitors to the Monarchy's subjects if they insist on making the ordinary person so called subject, not by consent either!

they are making a mockery of so called Justice.

They also made a strange decision recently in a case involving consultation for major works and service charges in leasehold properties. Consultation is set at statutory 30 days, when a landlord consulted for less they found for the landlord.

A disgusting decision

I have found that the majority of the time the barriers at hospital car parks are usually out of action at some point during the day - therefore, I would go as close as I need to in order to see if the barriers were operating or not BEFORE I paid via the machine. There were too many occasions when I paid and got to the barrier to see them permanently up, allowing vehicles to exit. This infuriated me so on average, I only pay once a week, lol. I appreciate not ideal, but every penny helps.
