Sadly we lost our dad on 21st sept 2015,

naturally all of the direct debits and standing orders got cancelled,

now looking through dads bank statements, we noticed that he had been paying £15 per week into a savings account by standing order, lloyds bank say they are unable to tell were the payment was going to as the standing order had been cancelled.

now we know there is an account but have no idea were and lloyds say they cant tell us

any help or advice on this would be great .

thanks

They should be able to find the original standing order details ? Send a Subject Access Request -

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?387306-Full-Subject-Access-Request-**Updated-January-2015**

if you are executor of your Father's estate then you will just need to provide a copy of the death certificate I think.

They have 40 calendar days to comply with your request and it will cost you £10.00

In view of the recent death of father, may I suggest that contact be made with the ICO by phone / letter stating the estate is being held up by LLoyds as they are unable to give relevant information so that the affairs of the estate can be finalised, if he was making Standing Order payments his account would show date frequency and to whom mine does and last payment date.

Lloyds have to keep records for 6 years I believe?? or the tax man may get mad!!!

You cant find any statements in connection to the £15 pw in any of his paperwork ? Wasn't premium bonds NS&I ?

Have you accessed his computer (if he used one) any online accounts ? (paperless)

We could do with some help from you.

Sorry Andy

all we have is his Lloyds statement that shows the £15 S/O every week, with the last payment made to the account on 24/9/15, the reference to the payment on the statements say Savings 02 £15, dad did most of his banking over the phone, so only have found LLoyds statements.

no reference to another account apart from a letter that closed an account with Lloyds last year.
