Wonga

Peachy

My Jar

Cheque Centre.

The above have all replied to acknowledge my complaint.

24/7 have issued a response:-

Your Account

247Moneybox.com

Hope that you are well. Please find below a copy of our complaints procedure. If you remain dissatisfied you can refer the complaint to our trade association (BCCA) and ultimately the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

247Moneybox is committed to lending responsibly at all times.

You have not made any form of payment towards the loan and so unsure where you have got the impression you have had to "repeatedly roll-over" your loan. In any case, as a gesture of goodwill, we are able to accept £100 (original amount advanced) as settlement of your balance. Please advise acceptance and when we should be expecting this payment.*

Kind regards,

Sounds perfect thank you, we are on same rotation, got my last 12 hour tomorrow then 3 off.

I have some amounts not all however hoping their initial reply will give me info I need.

The ones who fail to disclose will be sent a SAR.

I'm thinking to try and obtain as many agreements as I can that the company's will volunteer.

Employment was disability and bar staff max wage 1000 a month.

Loans back to 2010/2011.

Lost house in April 2011. Judge commented when handing over possession and said I fell into a trap and its very unfortunate how such small loans can escalate but he could see no way of repaying my arreas on mortgage without getting into further debt.

The judge also wrote a letter for me to give to council to state I was vulnerable at the time and he extended possession by 4 weeks and asked that local authority to house me which they did thanks to the judge as was classed as priority.

Back on my feet now. But I'm determined to expose these showers of s×××.

Cash genie were the worst of all.

FYI cash genie told me I was due no redress, asked them for details of loans, fired off a quick complaint (i sent it straight to Emma Steeley) and within 24 hours they came back with an offer of refunded interest which was only £62.50, but better than the initial NO :)

Good luck, think a few are having some joy in light of the Wonga situation. I complained to CFO lending about 3 weeks ago about affordability. My £400 borrowing had spiralled to £1400 on my file .My salary declared was deemed enough to cover it (about £1200 a month) so they said it was affordable and went off that only, no other borrowing checks.

Offered to reduce my balance to £500 and update file.So an improvement but still feel they failed affordability as they didn't check any current borrowing (about 7 loans).

I thought i'd get nowhere at all but seems most PDL's had flaws somewhere so worth trying, good luck.

Peachy final reply. Account now with mmf balace £417. Original loan £100

Thank you for the email.

Please be advised that before taking out a loan with us you signed a Credit Agreement and Secci, where you agreed to the terms and conditions. In relation to the Credit Agreement (Statement 4.1) we can confirm you have provided us with information that you had £450 disposable income, which means you should have had more than enough funds to cover a £115 loan repayment. Additionally we made sure you are employed by the company whose details you provided in your application by performing our work check via phone.

In case the provided information was incorrect, then you would be responsible for providing us with false information, therefore making it impossible for us to ensure your affordability in any other way.

We would also like to advise you that all the charges and interest added were according to the Credit Agreement signed with us. The Financial Conduct of Authority started regulating the interest and charges in the pay day loan sector form the 2nd of January 2015. Your loan was taken out on 05/10/2011.

We would like to bring out that you have never made any payments to us, therefore we would be unable to refund any charges or interest to you.

We have acted fully according to the Credit Agreement that you signed with us and we conduct our business in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, regulatory guidance and requirements and we can justify our practices and procedures used in assessing affordability in the event of a regulatory challenge.

Please find the Credit Agreement and Secci signed by you attached below.

Unfortunately, based on the above we are not able to uphold your complaint.

We hope this will suffice to rectify the situation and would appreciate your confirmation on if your complaint has been resolved to your satisfaction.

This has been our final response. If this is not satisfactory to you then you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge – but you must do so within six months of the date of this letter.

If you do not refer your complaint in time, the Ombudsman will not have our permission to consider your complaint and so will only be able to do so in very limited circumstances. For example, if the Ombudsman believes that the delay was as a result of exceptional circumstances.

You may contact them on the following details:

In that case don't accept it, most of that extra 1,000 will be penalty charges and interest which should never have been applied anyway! Tell them to wipe that lot first THEN come to an agreement for the remainder.
