I was having problems with my broadband this summer and customer service were not being helpful.

I kept calling back and finally a lady was honest with me. She told me that there are network problems in my area and they would likely be this way up until October.

She then credited my broadband account in light of this.

If any of you are having problems - I am in Wandsworth, SW London - I hope this helps

I have the basic internet speed with Virgin because their high speed service which you pay more for is sometimes not any faster, if you have many Virgin customers in your area.

We could do with some help from you.

I read somewhere that broadband speeds are never going to be what they tell you in the advert but that you can expect at least 50%

Broadband speed itself is really hard to get to grips with though.

  • How many people are on-line in the area at the same time as you?
  • Can the website you are currently visiting handle the amount of visitors?
  • Are you using a wired connection/wireless connection?

You could go on and on.
