Hi all.

Just a quick question I can provide more detail if required.

HSBC refused a request for an overdraft on three occasions this year yet they have put us overdrawn

without our permission can they do this and if so why?

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

In January of this year our account went o/d

no formal arrangement in place and none requested at that point.

Both my wife and myself were unemployed at this point but not on benefits as I had a start date for a job through an agency.

First weeks wages went into the account but did not clear the o/d so we went into branch to try and arrange one,

but this was refused, failed credit check.

In fact they even refused to allow us to take £50 to buy food with.

We tried again for a overdraft in late Feb again refused, twice in fact.

I lost my job due to manager not liking me so he ended my contract.

fast forward to April and HSBC have put us overdrawn despite refusing us a facility.

So far I have had the charges and interest from Jan/Feb refunded

and they have not charged us for four months I think because we were on benefits at that point.

The wife has a job now but I do not and have lost my benefits as a result.

I think that gives a brief overview of things,

but I do not understand how they can refuse an overdraft request and then put you overdrawn
