And yet they can't get their heads around abolishing road tax and adding it to petrol tax. Cheaper to collect, harder to evade, don't have to chase evaders, foreign vehicles pay it. Easier to dump car and take bus if petrol is dearer and you've not paid lump sum up front... Oh but that would be too constructive for this dopey, lethargic government.

 

Improve the pass rate?? have these idiots actually been out behind the wheel recently??

 

Well they have no idea of current driving standards in their chauffeur driven limos at tax payers expense from their second london homes
