Where are these silly rumours coming from. He can't do anything on his own, he would be the leader of a party and anything done would be by consent of parliament.

The things being said make his role seem dictatorial, he will be the sole ruler.

This is the right wing press imagining Corbyn winning a majority and being able to do many things.

As some economists have said, Corbyn has a point that government has a role to play in bringing into the public sector any critically important business that has failed e.g RBS, Lloyds. Could you imagine what would have happened if Labour had allowed those Banks to go bust.

I believe that state industries can offer better services to the public and earn the country money. Look at how many UK utility companies are partly or wholly owned by foreign governments.

We could do with some help from you.

Privatised companies charge up to 10% more than their operating costs to the end consumer as a guaranteed profit margin.

If that fails the Tax payer bails them out to that 10% margin

Privatised industries have a Win-win agreement

How can that be fair to joe public??

Because they would then be a private company with shareholders and a profit making company. The government will have got a nice purse from the sale.

No one goes into business without the intention of making a profit and 10% if a very low profit margin.

HIS HEROES, would you trust him to run this country???

CORBYN ON THE IRA

Asked on Ulster radio if he’d condemn the Irish terrorist group, Corbyn

repeatedly avoided a direct answer—simply saying: ‘I condemn all bombing.

It is not a good idea, and it is terrible what happened.’

He added: ‘Look, I condemn what was done by the British Army as well as

other sides. What happened in Derry in 1972 [bloody Sunday] was pretty

devastating.’

Corbyn had previously invited Sinn Fein’s Gerry Adams to the Commons

weeks after the IRA murdered five people in the Tory Conference bomb at

Brighton. In 1987, he observed a minute’s silence for IRA men killed by the SAS.

During the troubles between 1969 & 2001, an estimated 1,800 people—including

women and children—are estimated to have been murdered by the IRA.

ON HEZBOLLAH AND HAMAS

‘It will be my pleasure and honour to host an event in Parliament where our friends

from Hezbollah will be speaking. I’ve also invited friends from Hamas to come and speak.

‘The idea that [Hamas] should be labelled as a terrorist organisation by the UK government

is really a big, big historical mistake.’

Most governments regard the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation,

guilty of war crimes, torture, murder, abductions and deliberately targeting Israeli citizens.

ON SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC

(Yugoslav leader accused of genocide)

Corbyn opposed military strikes against the brute’s attacks in Kosovo. In 2004, he signed a

Commons motion praising Left-wing journalist John Pilger ‘on his expose’ of the fraudulent

justification for intervening in a “genocide” that never really existed in Kosovo”.

Milosevic was put on trial at the International Criminal Tribunal for atrocities, including genocide

and crime against humanity .

ON HUGO CHAVEZ

(Former socialist president of Venezuela)

‘Thanks, Hugo Chavez, for showing that the poor matter and wealth can be shared. He made massive

contributions to Venezuela and a very wide world.’

The hard-line Marxist brought a rich oil economy to its knees—leaving his country a basket case,

ravaged by poverty and inflation.

ON CUBA

He praised Marxist Fidel Castro’s ‘achievements’ in healthcare and education and ‘the esteem in

which Castro is held.

More than a million people fled the dictator’s regime while he enriched himself.

PS After Lady Thatcher died, he said: ‘I don’t think we should be spending

all this money on recalling Parliament and a quasi-state funeral.’

Before you start on this band wagon of attacking Corbyn like you did with George Galloway

Might i remind you of the Good Friday Agreement

If the then labour Government failed to negotiate with Sinn Féin we would still have bodies in the street

If just one life is saved through talking then that has to be worth it

And by the way, i did three tours myself

You disgust me with all this negative propaganda.

Be it Corbyn is elected or not, the electorate will decide

Now why did I not expect a response like that I ask myself??

Anything can be twisted, to suit what you wish to believe, all I have done

is to list what he has said in the past, you say this so called (in your words negative propaganda)

it just happens to be fact weather you wish to believe it or not, that is entirely up to you.

You are correct the electorate will decide, I would like to think that they are not as naïve,

as some politicians seem to think they are, when trying to pull the wool over their eyes.

You mention the Good Friday Agreement I would not call this an agreement, I would be

more inclined to call it an appeasement to murders, who have been let off, and would

in my opinion do the same all over again if it suited them to do so, and I would not rule

that out either, in the future.

Just remember nothing in this world is for free, somebody has to pay for it, I assume you are

in receipt of a military pension some body has to pay for it.

I have every respect for ex-servicemen, I served in the military myself for 28 years.

Don’t even start me on George Galloway.

The IRA are still alive and kicking and Gerry Adams is still their boss. If not, then how does he know "Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has said the IRA was not involved in the murder of ex-IRA man Kevin McGuigan Sr."

What is interesting is the same old crap coming out of labour party HQ

Have any of the other three leadership contenders besides Corbyn gone on record saying what they will do to win back the trust of the British public?.

Labour have lost the last two General election with this Blairite crap.

That is why Corbyn has mass support, and it terrifies the Oxbridge crowd. The people have spoken

What you are saying is the people want to change the country to communism with a dictator in charge. Silly talk.

Even if he should become leader, as said earlier, he can't do a single thing by himself, so it makes no odds who is the leader so why are you cheering like a One Direction fan.

The source no doubt is Tory Party Central HQ, just like his other posts

This is a debating thread, not a kipper echo chamber of self glorification

The Tories are terrified of him as his policies appeal to the Greens and SNP as well. That is why we have this constant negative propaganda

That negative propaganda is not working by the way

I cana't put links yet as my post count isn't high enough, but they come from various sources including parliament so I can't be accused of sticking to one paper.

They are in most papers and blogs around the world from Cornwall to Israel.

I think the tories love him, he is certain victory for them if he is in. lol

They're not just worried about JB they're petrified of the breath of fresh air filling Westminster. The people have seen through the mad men and sharp suits image. It's a very superficial world you know.

At least Jeremy (JC) as started a debate. Middle of the road/PC politics from the labour party have left it dead in the water. JC is not the messiah nor do I agree on most of his polices but at least he shows signs of life. The three corpses who wish to replace the last deadend leader of the labour party would not have an original thought if you put 5,000 volts through them. I fear that no credible opposition will emerge that can challenge the conservatives.

The Tories were written off only 10 years ago. They went through 3 leaders between 1997 and 2005.

Remember Cameron has a nightmare on his hands in the form of the EU referendum ! It is looking like Cameron will ask the British public to vote to stay in the EU, even though he had not obtained any reforms.

Also we have the migration issue and the world economy likely to be unhelpful in the next few years.

We could do with some help from you.

The statements you have made suggest to me that you consider Jeremy Corbyn to have come from an ordinary background, and that he is just an ordinary working class person. (breath of fresh air??).

Secondly why when making a comment in relation to HIS HEROES, would you trust him to run this country??? did you just mention the IRA how about his other friends?
