On 23.7.15 I upgraded my phone through Carphone Warehouse. I changed provider from O2 to Vodaphone. I migrated my existing phone number. I confirmed that my direct debit should be changed to Vodaphone for agreed new sum and my O2 account should be cancelled.

I have had nothing but trouble with the upgrade process. It took over a week for me to make an outgoing call.!I called Vodaphone and was transferred to three different people. I was told it was a billing problem. I explained I was a new customer so there shouldn't be a problem.

They said they would ring me back within 5 mins- instead I got an automated text saying I should pay my bill on time and then I wouldn't be disconnected! I then had problems getting wifi on my phone. I went into settings but couldn't enter a password. I called into Carphone Warehouse and then Vodaphone, who both said they couldn't see why!!! Not at all helpful.

It was my daughter who finally sorted that out for me!! Finally this week(nearly one month after ordering phone), my friends informed me that when I sent a text message it came up with the new phone number I was issued and not my original number. I was receiving phone calls and texts!

Again I had to phone Vodaphone to sort this out. To add insult to injury I received a letter from Vodaphone today informing me that my account had been suspended! Apparently Vodaphone had tried to get my first payment on 1.8.15 but they had failed to set my direct debit up by this date.

This was admitted by a Vodaphone customer service agent I rang this evening to complain. I had to authorise my Visa card payment to pay this amount and then I wouldn't have to do this again next month as they had all my account debit details!
