Dear All

Back after 2 years last time beating ANPR at POPLA ! with help from this site

Upto date advice needed on PCN issued in Scotland at Tesco Car park Linlithgow (by Eurocarparks) ,for an over stay of 34 mins

.The advice for PCN in Scotland used to be Ignore

Is that still the same advice due to POFA not appling in Scotland ? and therefore no need to give driver details

I live in England and the car is registered in England ,I haven't responded

Thank you in advance

Exactly as you suspect. POFA does not apply North of the border, so they cannot chase the keeper. You can safely ignore them in this case.

Please note;

I am not a legally qualified solicitor and all my advice is based on my past experiences in the relevant field. Although my advice will always be sincere, it should be used as guidance only.

I would always recommend to seek professional advice for clarification prior to taking any action.

ignore them totally

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi All

Thanks again for your Speedy responses

the main issue i had was about me being Resident in England and the car also being a resident of England ?

It seems that makes no difference as the Heinous crime took place North of the Border

Many Thanks

doesnt matter the law of the LAND applies. No keeper liability in Scotland so bst just ignore them and you cant incriminate yourself or anyone else.

Euro are pretty lacklustre when it comes to following the rules so they will probably make more mistakes before they give up.
