We bought a car through Black Horse we traded the first car in after a year and got a bigger car and then we traded that one in and got another one thats the back story.

 

We then fell behind with payments and they reposessed the car that was approx 5 or six years ago

 

 

we were paying a token payment all we could afford to a DCA

 

 

this went on for approx 3 or 4 years and

 

 

then we got a letter back from Black Horse saying they were to be paid again not the DCA

 

 

we have continued to pay a token payment all we can afford there is a balance of approx £9,000 still outstanding.

 

Can anyone offer some help it will take forever to pay this off at the payments we are making.

Please forgive me what is VS or VT

creditors have the habit of not tell people they can opt for Voluntary Termination

which mean you only have to pay upto the 50% mark.

 

they go for Voluntary Surrender [or tell you nowt]

and it defaults to that.

 

that means you owe the full agreement amount

 

as this is black horse

 

I bet you had arrears fee, late etc etc

repo fees

 

and all manner of unlawful/reclaimable insurances.

I take it you fell for the fleecing antics of a no powers DCA too?

We have no paperwork at all,

 

 

as for the full story thats in my first post also as for VS or VT we cant remember

but they sent us a letter saying they would send someone to collect the car.

 

 

As for the DCA they fid not really bother us as long as we were paying the token payment..

Black Horse said they would probably pass it on I take it they mean another DCA.

 

Can we ask for a copy of all agreements?

 

Can we ask was it VS or VT would they tell us?

 

Can we ask for a SAR and see what they have on us regarding paperwork sent and charges etc?

Forgive me but what is a CCA I know a SAR is £10.00 does a CCA have a cost??

That is the CCA and the SAR letters done will get in the post tomorrow

Black Horse sent a letter and said the concessionay arrangement has come to an end
