I've heard from a couple of people that these exist, and can be topped up at paypoints. I'm pretty interested in getting one, especially if we go down the route of getting parachute accounts.

Are these real? are they worth it? anyone got one? what are the drawbacks?

Thanks

iPeach

My mate whos credit rating is appalling looked into these, there are several available but the fees for charging them up can be pretty steep so he decided against it. Still if you feel you need one make sure you compare several and pick the one that best fits your needs

pre paid credit cards are ok if you watch if you pay in your wages becuase it takes about four days to clear in the backs account then my take another four days to clear in yours thats what i found out when i tried to obtain an upto date balance on my 360money account the best way to put money on them is cash it clears same day but the charges are about 30pence per 10 pounds and about the same on spending it so the charges can mount up
