Hi,

my ex-partner (my daughter's Daddy) has landed a job that entitles him to free private health care for him and his 'family'. He's asked me if I'd like us (me and my daughter) to be included in the package.

I'm currently on Income Support until May - will it effect this at all?

Thanks in advance.

No, shouldn't do. I assume you mean something like BUPA or similar, rather than an income replacement insurance plan, is that correct?

if you are EX-partners - then you are not part of his family

if he adds you to privte health care as part of his "family" - it could be used by DWP as evidence to indicate you are still a couple

honestly, I would say that he should not include you, but should include your daughter

Aye, hadn't thought of that but it is a good point.
