I wonder if anyone else here has had occasion to buy BMW navigation DVDs online from naviupdates.co.uk? His site advertises with '100% satisfaction or your money back'. However, reality is that if the product doesn't work, it is your fault and no refund is available.

Since the sums are relatively small, £29.99 in my case, it slips under the cover offered by the Credit card issuer.

I have to be fair: the vendor sent three different DVDs before I finally asked for a refund.

I would be very interested in any suggestions of how I could get satisfaction?

Yes, I tried that, but my card supplier said too much time had passed by. It was a couple of months when Xmas intervened and the vendor sent me more DVDs to try. I could, in theory, make a claim on the SCC, but for this amount of money I feel it is hardly worth the hassle. I guess a lot of small on-loine traders are likely to rely on people like me. Next time, if something doesn't work first time, then back it goes like connected by elastic!

looks like you got stung there, nothing on their site re terms etc.

anyone can post up a 'satisfaction/moneyback guarantee' logo on their site!

youll need to try find out who they actually are to pursue.
