Another example of improper recovery of goods from the customer's home - Financial Ombudsman awarded a full refund of all payments, and £300 for the distress caused.

I suppose that the solution was accepted - which is a shame because a court would have ordered a better settlement.

And a damn sight quicker too!

 

No doubt PH just turned up on the doorstep with no notice and took the goods back but there are rules there for a reason. These rules were breached, not once but many times.

 

Unfortunately we see this tactic used on a regular basis and not just by PH
