Hi

Over the years I have been living on credit and had many cards/loans, trying to juggle the payments, and then got into a payday loan spiral. Regret all that happened and now am in an IVA

Today, I received an email from Wonga saying that my debt is wiped out and no more to pay which is great news.

Please can anyone advise me if other payday lenders are doing the same or best action to take to get these debts wiped or reduced too?

Thanks in advance

This thing with Wonga is pretty much national news. At the moment, we havent heard anything to suggest that other companies will be doing the same.

This is all due to the FCA clamp down.

Can i ask which PDL you used?

We could do with some help from you.

Have you advised your IVA of email from WONGA ?

If you think you can make a case for irresponsible lending by the other PDLs, then you might be able to persuade them to either reduce or wipe out any debt you have with them.
