Hello and Welcome Russmy,

I have started a new thread for you, could you please give us some details of the credit cards you mention, ie how old are they what companies are they with and are they still with the Original companies or have they been passed to debt collectors.

Regarding SB clock, this refers to the 'time barring' of certain debts.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

hi Maroondevo, thank you for replying and moving my post..I couldnt figure out how to do this

None have been passed to debt collectors, nor are there late payments. I have an Egg card now with Barclaycard, a virgin now with MBNA , a smile and m&s one...had them all for about 5 years or so

My request is more spectulative than anything.

Hi,

I don't think there's too many negatives when considering sending creditors a CCA request.

Do you have any idea if there's PPI or similar on the cards.

Can't do any harm to see what they come back with, it's your legal right to see this information.

thank you old rouge, if I am honest I'm not sure. Im not in trouble with the payments. My idea was to send a speculative letter, then those who didnt respond or sent something non-compliant to take it from there. It seems there is no risk in sending a letter and see if any of them get panicky...

no risk in sending the requests, but any missed /late payments will kill your credit file for 6 years

cca requests are for information, not for debt avoidance
