Hi,

I have been with my other half for about 3 years and she has always told me she has a license

(she lost it so doesn't have it -- I know a few people who have lost theirs so didn't think anything of it)... She is on my insurance as a "named driver"

Earlier she was doing less than 35 in a 30mph road but when saw the speed van slowed down to 30

but she has just admitted she has no license!!

Devastation that she lied to me aside what happens now?

What happens to me?

What happens to her?

Thanks

There are a lot of things that can and will happen. Especially if you get caught. However, you need to think, if she has lied to you for this long about having a licence, what else is she lying about.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

what do you mean she has no licence?

she has never held a UK full licence

or

she has simply lost the documentation?

if she is on your ins, I would have thought they would have checked she had one via databases?

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Oh dear!

You'll have to take her off your insurance asap.

Just tell them that she won't be driving your car anymore, so you won't lie.

And of course don't let her drive your car anymore.

Then you can deal with the fact that she lied to you for 3 years.

Good luck
