I have not replied as my colleagues have received about 10 of these each- I have only ever received one.

They just kept saying to ignore them.

Its the first time,

I have looked on there and even knew a Popla code existed- not 100% sure still what it is

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

give us a bit more detail on how the claim originated and if possible the dates you received any tickets/letters.

Too late for POPLA but still possible to get them to go away without a fight.

The CCJ bit is a threat designed to make you pay up,

it has partially worked as you are at least taking notice of this latest letter

but wisely you have now sought advice.

Tell us where the car park is,

who owns it etc.

Hi,

They are saying I parked without displaying a permit.

Each office building has certain allocated spaces that the buildings own.

I parked in a space for a building that is currently occupied and up for sale so we used those spaces as they were not being used.

It is in Drakes Walk, Waterfront 2000, Cardiff Bay.

I am unsure who owns it.

My colleagues has not received this type of letter but have received numerous yellow and red ones from new generation.

The solicitor letter is from parking in September 2014.

I have received a new one today from 18th february - a yellow one- Im guessing I can use popla for that type of letter?

This letter is saying I am parked in a bay without permission.

As I work in financial services, I can not risk getting a CCJ so want it to go away asap!!

Thanks

stable door and horse come to mind! you cannot get a ccj without going to court, being found guilty, being fined/parking charge plus costs etc, then refusing to pay such fine ,only then may,i say may get a ccj against your name. mays iffs and buts.

Ok to deal with today's notice.

They say that you are parked without permission- whose permission exactly?

Respond to them both saying that you refute their claim that you were parked without permission

and that they have no authority to decide how you may park on land where you are the occupier

and that they are trespassing on your property to affix their stupid notices and they should desist.

Any parking permit issued is an administrative conevnience and gives them no authority over how your employer (or you with their consent) may use the land.

As for the vacant areas, then plainly the parking co cannot have a contract with the occupiers of that particular spot as there isnt one.

  • 2 weeks later...
I have received a letter from Wright Hassall solicitors now after ignoring them since September.

I am worried about the CCJ part as stated in the letter. I have been advised to keep ignoring the letter.

What is your advise?

LMAO Wright Hassell Solicitors? Really? If its a right hassle then why bother?

Thats made my day lol
