Link have to honour any reduced repayment rate that was in-place when the debt was sold, you do not have to go through any I&E with Link.

CCA immediately, enclose a £1 Postal Order, template letter is here...

Also have you all of the statements? If not send a SAR to Barclays, reclaim all charges and any PPI if it was or ever have been applied.

The SAR costs £10, template letter is here...

HI dx,

not ignoring your advice

I thought I had to wait until asset link notified me before taking action,

also I don't believe I have any charges owed to me

,i never had ppi or late payment charges,

i was paying the minimum repayment for a couple of years so interest was added to the outstanding amount but I don't think that's reclaimable.

cash cowed

a BC debt from 20yrs ago

they'll never have an enforceable CCA

and I bet the debt is all or mostly penalty charges or PPI

and that's why BC sold it on to the fleecers.

I see we've been trying to get you to send a CCa request to link for almost 3yrs now

They will never have any paperwork. Get that request off now, and stop them in their tracks. Its as if you think they have any rights or power. They dont and never will.

hello, need your advice please,

I have not had a response from link since I sent cca request 5 months ago,

just today received a letter from them stating they will issue a default notice if I do not make a payment to them by the 27th this month,

can they issue a default on my account ,

I thought only the original creditor could issue a default,

the account was assigned to link 3years ago

I had been paying them until December just gone,

but stopped when I made the cca request,,

should I remind them about the request or not,,,,

,sorry meant to say bcard never defaulted the account....thank you,
