we recently received a threat letter from a company that the company which resided here at the address, before we moved in

,received a ccj from.

they still have the registered address as being here

and from my due diligence see it will soon be struck off companies house.

naturally i do not want bailiffs attending this address

You have nothing to worry about - as the assets belong to you not the previous company.

Keep a copy of your lease etc handy to show you moved into the vacated premises and your legal name etc.

Would also be worth cutting them off before by writing to them, enclosing copy maybe.

You will get a notice of enforcement before an enforcement agent turns up.

Just respond to that via email with a tenancy agreement, business rates bill etc.

Best to keep the documents official as its more likely to be taken on its own merits then.

A quick write up just explaining the circumstance and it should all disappear

takes five mins.
