I am looking into all previous credit cards and store finance, and want to see a list of charges for these.

Do I have to send the £10 SAR fee if I only want to see a copy of charges to my account, rather than the endless statements?

I have quite a few and don't want to pursue futile claims.

please advise.

if you are going to SAR ask for everything

Most card companys will charge for statements so SAR is cheaper and gets more.

You could always ask for a list of charges, BANKS have in the passed given these out for free.

Dont ask dont get

Added benefit of doing a full sar is that in future should anythign else come out of the woodwork, you will have all the data stored :)

don't forget you only need to send each creditor ONE SAR

i'e if you have several accounts with the same 'group'

one sar will do but specifically state the accounts to avoid confusion.

don't forget to SIGN THE SAR

and if you have MOVED since you took the credit out

include a list of your old addresses

and

a recent CTAX bill copy

to prove who/where you are now.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
