Hi

My partner and I are looking into equity release. He is nearly 65 and I am 52. As I am underage they have said that i would need to take my name off the deeds.

My question is how expensive is this and how do you go about it

Many thanks

Hi, the first thing I would say is, why equity release? Are you sure this is the right thing to do and have you looked at all other options first. At age 65 your partner will only get around 25% of the value of the property!
