Hi

I purchased a LG G Watch from Carphone Warehouse online on the 28 th of Sept 2014 and picked it up from a high street store 3 days later. The watch cost £150.

The strap has now split and the watch cannot fasten on to my wrist. I contacted carphone warehouse who said they do not offer support for that product and I would have to contact LG personally. I did that and sent pictures of the broken strap and they have decided the damage is down to "normal wear and tear".

I am now not sure where to turn to next and any advice would be appreciated.

I would say that Carphone Warehouse are wrong.. but I will find someone to advise further.

Hi missy

The strap hasn't even lasted three months, it could be the material that the strap is made of, £150 for a watch, is quite a lot, so should last more then three months. Also I doubt they can say 'it's normal wear and tear' without physically examining the strap, looking at pics is very poor indeed.

Carphone Warehouse are responsible for resolving this matter, not LG.
