Hi and welcome to CAG

 

A battery made in 2013 would (in my opinion) still be classed as new as they make hundreds and thousands of them at one time.

 

As the battery is still in its packaging, it will not have been used so 'should' still be good

You would need to contact the seller in the first instance to express your dissatisfaction and ask for a returns authorisation but also to get in writing that they will bear the cost.

 

If they fail to respond or state that you are responsible for the return costs then you will need to complain to Amazon
