Every day now for some time , even twice on occasions i have been receiving marketing calls from a company selling phone contracts for 3 mobile they are called "uk buzz".( Untitled Document ) i have told theyre call workers not to call any times as my mum has been ill and she getsup to aswer to a marketing call which really grates me.

 

They are rude and when i tell them to stop calling they have even said they are going to call many times a day every day to scare us !

 

Do i write a letter sto uk buzz no more calls anymore calls will be reported to police and will be treated as harassment?

 

any ideas who to complain to aswell. they aggravate me immensely , i cant find an address on their website either any pointers on where to go?

 

So il draft a coplaint and post it on here until then if anyoe can think of bits to add id be very interested !

Go to the Telephone Preperence Service website TPS Registration and register your number with them. Any company doing telephone marketing must screen their data for those that are TPS registered. If you get any calls after that tell the caller that you are TPS registered and are recording the call to assist in your complaint. It is an offence under the Privacy & Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations to call someone who is registered in this way.

It is also worth mentioning that TPS registration is not instant - it can take up to 56 days for your 'do not call' details to filter down to call centres. After that if they call, you can report them. One thing, if you have ever done business with them or requested info from their web-site, the calls cease to be unsolicited, and TPS won't be of any use - as this is a valid exemption - so make sure you haven't!
