other Parking Eye taking me to court - ***PE Dropped Case Before Hearing***

OK its finally over. The court have confirmed that parkingLIE have pulled out of the case. I have actually spent rather a lot of money on special deliveries and copying etc. Am I able to put in a claim to get this back? After all I did not ask for all this to happen? Someone said to me that i couldnt make any sort of claim as it was small claims fasttrack. Any ideas please?

I know how you feel. ..... But sadly I don't think you can get a penny of your expenses back. ....................

you can apply for a costs order. I think you get charged £70 for the application though so probably not worth it (though you do get your £70 back if you get the order).

Just want to say well done to sam clark for sticking it out and playing the rip off parking companys at their own game.

Goes to show that with the help of this forum and perseverance, these companys are just bully's and rip off merchants.

There ought to be legal sanctions against this kinda behaviour. Isn't the term 'vexatious'?

for vex you have to suffer their attention 6 times before they get barred from the courts altogether. You can get individual damages for vex if you can show that their action was malicious or without cause. As they do win a few (by default) that will be harder work than is worthwhile.
