So I have made a big boo boo!!

I owed quite a bit of money on a virgin credit card and stopped making instalments in January 2010 as I lost my job.

I haven't paid a penny towards it since (was originally around £6000).

Shoomiths solicitors have located me,

they sent me an LBA and I forgot to respond partly out of panic.

I received a claim form and was away when it came.

When I got it i only had a few days left to respond

i did offering £10 a month as this is all I can afford right now also thinking that it would set aside the CCJ.

This was just on wednesday and it's sunday now and

I have finally have had time to google to see what the likelihood of them accepting my offer will be

and I have just read that they will get a CCJ anyway based on my offer of payment!!!

I am so mad at myself,

is there anyway I can ask for a deed of assignment and all the other things after I have already made a payment offer

and is there any way of setting aside the CCJ??

Please let me know..

..I know I am stupid for leaving this so long but I was just panicked

and it was better to leave it in the back of my mind

forget the FoTl sites that talk about the three letter trick and the deed of assignment.

or you'll get stuffed in court

please fill out the link you've been given.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
