if you happen to have a claim,

they will use Davies Group Loss adjusters to rubbish your claim,

appoint your own FREE LOSS ASSESSORS to assist you,

WHEN we had water damage recently,

they trawled through 5 years of Insurers cover,

if we had made a claim or not been covered they would have rejected the claim

- THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS WHEN YOU TAKE THE POLICY

- WHAT A RIP OFF TO REJECT A CLAIM

- ours is Valid as we had full cover and never claimed in 5 years

- DAVIES GROUP BY BAD INSURERS AS LOSS ADJUSTERS TO RUBBISH VALID CLAIMS.

CHECK YOUR POLICY AN DECLARE EVERYTHING, AS IF YOU HAVE A CLAIM THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING TO REJECT IT!!!!!!

Hi intree,

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience, we take all customer feedback very seriously. It would be really helpful if you could contact us directly and provide your policy information so that we can pass this on to the insurer involved.

Please feel free to email us at [email protected]

Many Thanks,

Jamie

Thank you Jamie

the matter needs to be in the open, so I will just post my experiences on this website as it not fair how your claims teams handle customer claims.

The sterling insurance underwriters accepted the claim in full - it appears the loss adjuster from davies group was at fault for holding on to information relevant to the claim, so hastings and sterling insurance have been fine in the end - just watch davies loss adjusters - they are bullies!!!

This was a house insurance claim, which was accepted originally, then the work stopped all of a sudden as the Loss Adjuster said we had not declared all claims, in fact the claim in question was never paid and was not recorded on our files or records, in the end the Loss adjuster tried to pull a fast one, but the Underwriters confirmed the claim would have still been accepted, as the incident was over approx 5 yrs ago, everyone must be careful to disclose all, they can remember and if not put on the proposal form "please check your own records for claims history" this way if you have missed anything and they then find it, you can be assured the the FOS will be on your side, as you had not confirmed that you had declared everything.
