hi everybody, I am currently in the midst of cleaning my finances up and getting on top of my debts.

I have seent his on my credit file today and was shocked at the time gap between the account opening and the default day (less than a month) and was just wondering if this was legit or if there is a way I can get it removed given the time frame.

I don't dispute the debt but under a month to issue a deafault seems rather harsh

The account will be removed from CRA files on the 6th anniversary of the Default date paid or not.

Im just curious if they can default you in such a small amount of time

Sadly this will happen with Pay Day Loans as they are short term loans designed to be repaid over a period of 1-3 months.
