5 mins ago there were 1766 viewers on this forum I was intrigued that only 16

were members and 1750 were unregistered guests are so many people afraid to nail their colours to the mast or are they just plain snoopers. I belong to many forums and have never experienced such a divide.

I frequently tell people about this site if I hear they might have a problem and I know that several of them have come on here. I also place the CAG parking leaflet on cars in a certain carpark so hopefully that might drive people here. I wonder how many of these people then sign up as members? Plus I frequently just come onto the site but don't sign in just to see what is going on.

Perhaps people who can't sleep worrying about the issues we see here.

I also thinks that CAG gets visitors from around the world, so it could be that many of the 1766 were from abroad. There as Indian website that used to review forum threads on CAG and other forums, saying whether they were helpful or not.

We could do with some help from you.

People will generally only register if they feel the need to ask a question or respond to a post. You have to be registered in order to do either. Has nothing to do with "nailing their colours to the mast.

I think you will also find that if someone pops a question into a search engine and our links pop up - that also registers as a guest, even if no one is actually looking at the forum.

I certainly isn't about 'nailing their colours' or about 'snooping'. These forums generally come top in searches and the information displayed is open to anyone who needs assistance or has an interest.

There are also those just popping in to see if a certain thread they might be interested in has progressed.

yes I agree with all the posts above this forum is available internationally with many other links, maybe the fact it was in the early hours means more international browsers searching but 100 times more guests than members at any one time perhaps being in the early hours has skewed the numbers.

just checked the number now 101 registered caggers

3375 guests so in the cold light of day a mere 30 times more.

I often dont bother logging in if I have nothing to contribute so will show as a guest rather than a member that way.

GOOD AFTERNOON ericsbrother

yes I would say 50% of the time I just wish to browse and do not sign in.

I find it quizzical that the numbers are so far apart just now there were 111 members and 3814 guests
