HI guys,

i am very concerned about a letter i have received from Major and Co on behalf of Arc.

I had car insurance with express insurance which i cancelled as i sold the car.

I cancelled my car insurance but they are still demanding £233 from me.

I expalained to them i had sold the vehicle but are still chasing me 15 months later.

I recently received a letter from Majoy and Co and

they advise they may issue a CCJ against me if i don't make payment within 14 days.

should i be worried?

I don't really know where i stand as i firmly believe i do not owe this money!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Jake

proof you cancelled and HOW?

just remember a DCA or their fake/tame solicitor

are NOT BAILIFFS

and have

NO SUCH LEGAL POWERS.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi Jake and welcome to CAG

Your post has been moved from the Gyms Forum into the General Motoring Forum. You posted there because ARC and their pet solicitors, Major & Co, are mentioned often for their demands re gym memberships.

1. Were you paying the car policy by monthly DD's.

2. What was the total payable for the year.

3. How much of that total had you paid when you cancelled.

4. What was the start date and the cancellation date for the policy.

My experience with ARC and with Major & Co with gym m/ships is that they threaten lots but they do very little. I don't know if they are any more assertive with car insurance policy debts.

I'm sure others will give opinion.

:-)

We could do with some help from you
