There was a TV news feature on the phone and they showed the Chinese factory production line. They produce tens of thousands of these phones every day. They are a cheaply made product that is made to be disposable within a shortish space of time ( well ready for i-phone 7 production).

People must be pretty desperate to buy the latest gadget to stay with the rest of the flock, as the phone probably costs about £20 to make and sells for £600.

We could do with some help from you.

What Apple will do instead of a recall or replacement is to provide a free case to put the phone in. Some people won't like it, but it is going to be a cheaper solution.

Agree, was thinking that would be a cheap and cheerful solution.
