Monument Card PBP Repayment - how do i check they are correct?

Hi

 

 

about 7 weeks ago i received a letter from monument saying i was sold ppi and did i want to claim against it being mis sold,

this i did and had not heard anything back until yesterday..

 

 

. when i came home i found a cheque for over £600 waiting for me along with a compliments slip..

 

I dont want to sound ungrateful but i have no idea how they came to this figure

 

 

so i phoned them only to be told they cannot discuss it with me as i cant remember my old password..

 

 

. i should mention the account has been closed for a few years..

 

 

all i really want to know is how they reached this figure and can they give me a breakdown.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

what about the cheque I have received ... will I keep hold of it until I here back from the SAR?

write to them asking for a breakdown of the calculations

 

 

they might give you a list of PBP payments and dates

 

 

cash the cheque if they are short they'll send another

 

 

when was the card opened and closed

 

 

have you any details?

Hi think it was opened in 2003 and it ran to about 2008, average balance on it was about £1000-£1500 . Will I SAR them also.

Hi have received a breakdown of my PBP payments and calculations on how Monument arrived at the figure that was on the cheque I received from them... I was hoping that someone could have a look at these figures and let me know if these calculations and the amount I received are correct.. any help would be appreciated.

set the int rate [cell d.15'] to 22.48

 

 

set the claim to date as 8/3/7

Hi calculated the pbp payments and set interest as you mentioned but the figure I cam up with is just over half of what I received ... is there any other calculations I have still to do?

how take the total from that and the date 9/3/7

 

 

and using the statint sheet

 

 

enter it as a lump sum

Hi can someone please tell me where I should put this date on the stat int spreadsheet? or do I use both dates ie: start of ppi payments to the end date and if so can you tell me what boxes to use please.

down load a new copy.

 

 

LEAVE the claim to date as is

 

 

enter in the claim form date

the date the DAY AFTER the conclusion of the CISHEET

 

 

then enter in the first row

the same date as above

 

 

and the CISHEET total

 

 

the statint sheet does the rest
