Hi

This is my first time posting in a forum like this so please bear with me. I recieved a letter asking me to attend a local service compliance interview next week and I am terrified. I rang the number on the letter and was informed that an allegation has been made that I have someone living with me. I am seeing someone but he lives with his grandparents and only stays over a couple of times a week although he does visit me regularly as I a, 7 months pregnant with his child. I suffer from anxiety and was claiming esa on this basis until recently. I normally take fluoxetine for this condition but am unable to at the minute due to my pregnancy. Does anyone know what to expect at this interview and if I would be allowed to take anyone with me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You may take someone with you.

This is not an "interview" under caution so it would seem that this is a routine check after an (probably anonymous) allegation.

All you will have to do is explain the situation clearly to the interviewer.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

Hello and welcome to CAG. I've started a new thread for you so you can have advice specific to your own situation. The forum guys should be along over the course of the day.

Compliance aren't usually as scary as the name sounds. Is this an interview under caution [iUC] or a normal meeting? The best thing is to tell them the truth about your situation.

Do you have any financial links like bank accounts, and does he have post sent to your house?

My best, HB

Hi,thank you for replying.

The letter doesn't say anything about interview under caution. My telephone Bill is in his name as I was refused due to bad credit and I need my phone and internet due to me having trouble going out alone, but nothing else comes here. As I mentioned in my original post I suffer badly from anxiety and this situation, along with me being unable to take my medication,is making me feel sick with worry.

Hi C & Cmum83

The first thing to do is to calm down, as you state you haven't done anything, there is no point in getting stressed or being teriffied, it's a waste of energy. You can take someone with you, they can make notes. I think you should explain as you have done on here what the situation is.

Just calm down, find distractions when ever you start thinking about next firday, do things, keep yourself busy.

Thank you, I will definitely keep you updated although the interview is only next Friday, hence me getting myself worked up about it (too much time to think about it,brain working overtime lol)
