    • Hi    Thanks for your response to my questions.   1. You say they are Lodgers is this correct? (are you sure you don't mean 'Tenant')   2. What type of Tenancy Agreement do they have?   3. Rubbish/Garden Maintenance - This is the Tenant responsibility and should be in the Tenancy Agreement and your Letting Agency should be enforcing this with said Tenant by writing to them and informing them to remove the rubbish and maintain the Garden. You mention Lodger Bond Money. The Letting Agency cannot refuse to provide you with a copy of the Tenancy Agreement signed due to GDPR as you are the Landlord that has employed them to provide a service and you are required to have copies of this Tenancy Agreement especially for any Breaches of that Tenancy Agreement you need to know what that Agreement states to take action against those Tenants.   I would therefore challenge that Letting Agency and not ask but Demand a Copy of that Tenancy Agreement as you are the Landlord not them and are legally required to have a copy of that Agreement and if they insist no due to GDPR then you ask them to provide you with the evidence of which Article and section of the GDPR they are relying on to refuse the Landlords legal request for a copy of this Tenancy Agreement.   Table of contents EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). Do you actually have a copy of the Agreement that you signed with this Letting Agency? (not tenancy agreement your own personal agreement with the letting agency)     Sorry if this sounds a bit blunt but your Daughter need to stop being nice with this Letting Agency and remember they are working for your Daughter not the other way about and your Daughter is paying them for that Service so basically  your Daughter (The Landlord) has employed the Services of this Letting Agency to provide a Service to look after and Maintain the Landlords Property by entering into a Legal Agreement paid for by your Daughter (The Landlord).   Please Name this Letting Agency?    
    • Hi Dixon,   I have been trying to get FTR victims to be more assertive with the police, to try and get a more positive answer from them - either that they will, or will not, investigate FTR and or O'Hara.   We've been told they may refuse to assist, saying they don't deal with tax fraud and they leave that to HMRC. Hi,

 

Any help much appreciated. Took out a payday loan with safeloans sometime in 2012, can't remember the amount, now they want 675 back even though i borrowed less than 300 thats for sure.

 

They kept contacting me and i basically just ignorec them, was jobless and couldn't be bothered with the hassle which was obviously stupid.

 

Now i'm in a position where i am working and can afford to repay my debts, so i am just asking is there anything i can do to at least fight the CCJ now? If i can't fight it then i will just have to accept it.

 

Any advice please? Maybe there is something i can use against them?

If theres a CCJ on file and it was sent to the address, and you ignored it, then theres not much that can be done. You could ask for a variation order so you cna pay according to your means, but if it was entered correctly, its there to stay.

You can get a certificate of satisfaction when its fully paid. It wont be much better than a normal CCJ but it will be slightly better.

I've read a lot of info on safeloans and how they harrassed customers etc, put on stupid interest, and there is still absolutely nothing that could work in my favour?

 

Can safeloans remove the ccj if they had a good reason to do so?

 

If i have to accept it then i obviously have to but even if there is something small i could try then i will try it.

Nope. If you ignored the CCJ and it was sent and delivered correctly, then you have already had you chance to defend the action. Ignorance or putting your head in the sand is not a valid defence.

You could certainly ask the creditor or their sols and see what they say. But with a PDL, i wouldnt count on it, unless they knew it was full of charges.

 

Can i ask if they are chasing you regarding the CCJ, or are you simply worried they might?

It was full of charges so i will get in contact.

 

The last letter they sent me was i believe january 2014 so they have chased it recently.

 

I just want to pay it so it is paid and my creditmisnt as bad.

If the CCJ is on your file and you pay it, you can get it marked as satisfied, but it will still remain there.
