I need help with this

I bought s 62plate bike from miles kingsport

it came with a 3 month warranty

however was a bit gutted about the chrome flaking off

but it was after the 3 months

he told me that I should take it to harley davidson

when I got there they checked the vin number and

confirmed thst it was actually first registered in 2006 December and it is a 6/7 year old bike

the vin is the same as the dvla v5 document

does it say anywhere on the v5 previously used or registered outside of the uk. ie declared manufactured 2007/2008.

when I used to buy jap imports when you registered them it always stated something on the v5

saying it was used outside the uk manufactured such and such a year.

Section 2 on v5 shows perevious owners 1 he acquired vehicle on 01092012

note 3 says declared new at first registration section 4 says date of 1st reg 01092012

but harley dealership say according to theyre vin search bike was 1st sold 20122006

Dealers are required to make all reasonable attempts to establish the mileage and age of a vehicle before they sell it. If you can find the date then so can they which means they have not complied.

You would be entitled to reject the bike for a full refund 'not as described'.
