letter arrived through post so they must have used anpr for data capture. This means they have 14 days after the event to notify you of their demand otherwise they cannot pursue keeper of vehicle. So, big question is when did you park there?

Anything else will require further info regarding the signage, land ownership and a host of other things so if the letter is out of time then this will defeat them.

We parked in a shop car park that had 90 minutes free parking but we were over that.

Today I got a letter saying the company G24 have issued a Contractual Parking Charge of £90.

Do I have to pay it or can I challenge it and if so on what grounds?

Please help!

so it does say "parking charge" not fine as in your original post heading ????????.
